About

Hi! My name is Daniella Stephenson.

In a small sense, Glimpses is a local art business I started in Harford County Maryland. I've always loved art. I started as a kiddo playing with clay and markers and then became an art major. My first job of 5.5 years as a full time graphic designer and communications director expanded my creativity to bring good through the nonprofit world. I love graphic design but I missed paint and paper, which led me to this new season where I've chosen to pursue handmade art again on a full-time basis.

Glimpses is inspired by the natural beauty around us. Anytime I’m outside, I’m inspired by nature and most of my work flows from that.

In a larger sense, Glimpses is art with a mission. The artwork is meant to slow us down and to help us appreciate the glimpses of beauty all around us. While the pieces themselves may look simple, I hope their impact goes deeper. I want you to have a little sacred spot in your home or office that catches your attention and gives you permission to pause for a few seconds to remember there's immense beauty in the world around us. Yes, there is darkness, but there is always life and hope piercing through. Glimpses of beauty and love. Glimpses of what we and this world was intended for - we just need to notice it. My hope is that each piece helps us notice it a little more often.

Not only that, but with a desire to bring as much goodness as I can, I want the impact to go beyond us. That’s why 10% of all profits go to Water for Good, a beautiful organization that I’ve followed since high school when it was called Lifewater International. Not only is this artwork here to impact your life, but also those around the world who are in desperate need of clean water. Thank you for contributing by making a purchase, and to learn more about their incredible mission, please visit waterforgood.org.
